Mongolia - 2025
Some journeys feel different from the very first moment.
Traveling through Western Mongolia wasn’t about chasing highlights or ticking places off a list. It was about vast open landscapes, long days on the road, and the kind of silence that makes you slow down and truly listen. Out here, time moves differently, and you begin to notice the small details that usually get lost.

What made this journey truly special were the people. Sharing tea in gers, listening to stories, learning about traditions, daily life, and the nomadic Kazakh culture. These moments of connection turned a trip into something deeply human — where strangers quickly felt like family and every encounter added another layer to the experience.
This tour through the Altai region wasn’t just a route on a map, but a collection of moments that stayed with me long after leaving. The images below are fragments of those days — shaped by landscapes, conversations, and a feeling of belonging. Not as a tourist passing through, but as a traveler allowed to be part of something real.
Altai
We spent an entire week in the Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, wide valleys, and endless skies. Days were shaped by hiking, quiet conversations, and nights under a sky filled with stars. With no signal and no distractions, the mountains invited us to be fully present — grounded, connected, and deeply aware of where we were.
Gobi
Later, the landscape shifted completely as we traveled into the Gobi Desert. Endless horizons, soft colors, and a stillness that felt almost unreal. The desert had a different rhythm — slower, quieter, yet just as powerful. Watching light change over sand and rock, you realize how diverse and vast Mongolia truly is.
